when describing my style, the word “masculine” does not come up. ever. a long-time lover of florals, sundresses and feminine shapes, the closest i get to any sort of androgyny is a structured blazer.
a few years ago, i probably considered camouflage the epitome of masculinity. (most likely because it was only available at the army surplus store). but lo and behold, camo has become the latest street style phenomenon, gracing countless bloggers and models off-duty — and looking chic, too. the latest iterations feel anything but masculine; in fact, i’d say it’s more unisex than anything. it depends completely on how you style it.
